Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Waterfront, I found it to be a practical choice for business travelers. The location is advantageous, with easy access to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, just a short walk away, making it convenient for attending conferences. The DFO shopping Centre and Crown Casino are equally close, providing leisure options after a productive day. The apartment featured essential business amenities, including reliable free Wi-Fi and a comfortable workspace, which I appreciated as a wildlife conservationist needing to stay connected. The fitness centre and indoor swimming pool provided an excellent way to unwind after meetings. While the initial cleanliness was an issue-our apartment was still being cleaned upon check-in-the staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags while waiting. The easy access to the tram system made navigating the city seamless and convenient. In a bustling area surrounded by cafes and dining options, the retreat offers a good balance of work and leisure, ensuring a fulfilling experience for any business traveler seeking to mix productivity with exploration. I recommend the Waterfront for anyone seeking to balance work and comfort while in Melbourne.
